Several reports have been published across different media platform regarding severe condition of our education system. Got an opportunity to encounter such a school in interior part of Krishnanagar, Nadia.

Earlier, it was warehouse of Border Security Force. Ration and other amenities were stored here. Then, our government decided to establish a school. Without having basic infrastructure warehouse was converted into school. School doesn't have proper buildings, classroom or even ventilation in classroom.

While sharing his concern, principal said, 'we will get a new building but when, nobody knows. We have 50-55 students in each class but accommodation is merely 30-35 students. It is very difficult for them to even get a sit in the classroom.'

So far if you think I am going to look down upon our policy makers you are wrong. Rather I say, I was mesmerized to see their (students & teachers) unflinching spirit to deal with all kinds of odds.

Computer Classroom of BSF Krishnanagar (Kendriya Vidyalaya)

A smart board and projector is essential to run this program. But, school does not have these things. To tackle with this problem Kishore Mojumdar, drawing teacher of the school puts three monitor one by one in front of students. He asked all students to sit down on the floor and continue the program. Kishorebabu does not able to accommodate all students on the floor. Some students stood behind them (though not seen in the picture).

Remember, this is computer room where official works are also being done. Real classrooms are worse than computer classroom.
